Choosing a fixation tape

Match the tape to the need: gentle paper/silicone tape for fragile skin, stronger fabric or waterproof tape for secure or long-wear fixation, and dressing-retention sheets for larger areas. Low-trauma silicone tapes reduce skin stripping on repeated changes.
