Mepilex Border Post-Op Surgical Dressing

Mepilex Border Post-Op is an all-in-one, self-adherent bordered foam dressing designed for closed surgical incisions and low-to-moderately exuding post-operative wounds. It combines a gentle Safetac silicone wound-contact layer, an absorbent foam pad, a retention layer and a bacterial- and viral-barrier backing film in a single dressing — simplifying post-surgical wound management.

The Safetac layer moulds to the skin and seals the wound margins without adhering to the moist wound bed, so removal is atraumatic and virtually pain-free while protecting fragile peri-wound skin. The absorbent core manages exudate and helps maintain a moist wound-healing environment, and the waterproof, breathable film backing lets patients shower with the dressing in place.

Because it can remain undisturbed for several days, Mepilex Border Post-Op supports fewer dressing changes, reduced disturbance to the incision and lower risk of surgical-site complications. Available in six sizes (6 × 8 cm to 10 × 30 cm), each supplied 10 dressings per box.
