Principelle IF® is an advanced sterile wound dressing designed in a 5cm x 6cm format. The dressing features an inert acetate substrate impregnated with a blend of trace elements and medical-grade dark buckwheat honey. This unique formulation contains no synthetic components; instead, minerals, trace elements, and oxides are directly blended with the honey, ensuring effective wound care.

Indications:

Principelle IF® is indicated for the treatment of various acute and chronic wounds, including:

Acute Wounds:

Burns

Surgical wounds

Traumatic wounds

Other acute wounds requiring fast epithelialization

Chronic Wounds:

Decubitus (pressure ulcers)

Wound cavities

Ulcera cruris (venous leg ulcers)

Diabetic ulcers

With appropriate secondary dressings, Principelle IF® can also be effectively used on moderately-exuding, lightly-exuding, and even dry wounds.

Product Characteristics:

Supervised by a healthcare professional, the Principelle IF® dressing contributes to normalizing the wound micro-environment. The dressing:

Restores protease balance and effectively regulates bacterial contamination in therapy-resistant wounds, promoting better re-epithelialization conditions.

Modulates moisture content and pH levels on the wound surface, facilitating optimal healing.

Does not inhibit drainage, allowing for efficient exudate management and improved wear time, especially in strongly exuding wounds.

Instructions for Use:

Inspect the wound carefully.

Cleanse the wound according to standard wound care procedures.

Remove the dressing from the packaging and apply it gently to the wound, ensuring complete coverage.

Contraindications:

This wound dressing should not be used on patients with known hypersensitivity to the Ionogen formulation or honey.

Note: Depending on the wound type and exudate level, the Principelle IF® dressing may be covered with traditional dressings, film dressings, foam dressings, alginate dressings, or Principelle Matrix for optimal results.
