Cleansing and antiseptic solutions clean wounds and skin and reduce microbial load before dressing. EMIS+ supplies wound cleansers, sterile saline and antiseptics (including chlorhexidine and povidone-iodine) in Singapore.

Choosing a solution

Sterile saline is the gentle default for routine wound cleansing; antiseptics such as chlorhexidine or povidone-iodine are used where antimicrobial action is needed, e.g. skin prep or contaminated wounds. Follow label directions and clinical guidance.
